2025 NFL FUTURES šŸ”®

Our goal with any of our ā€œbest betsā€ is to find value. Today, we won’t be looking at who the favorites are to win each award, but rather some longer shots you can bet on to get maximum payout.

MVPurdy?

Brock Purdy // Ezra Shaw, Getty Images

With (+2800) odds, Brock Purdy is a favorite bet among many for the 2025 NFL MVP. The award often goes to the QB on the best team, and with the easiest strength of schedule in the NFL — along with a projected win total of 10.5 — the Niners have as good of a chance as any to be that team.

If you flush San Fran’s 2024 injury-riddled season down the toilet, the signs of Purdy taking that next step were there in 2023. He finished first in QBR, and his 0.26 EPA per dropback was the highest among qualified QBs, per Josh Shepardson of Sharp Football Analysis. He finished 4th in the MVP voting that year after racking up an impressive 4,280 yards and 31 TDs.

  • Other good values: Jalen Hurts (+1800) and Jordan Love (+1800)

OPOY

Bijan Robinson // Atlanta Falcons

Jacob Infante of PFSN's best bet for Offensive Player of the Year is Bijan Robinson (+1400). Last year, his 2nd in the NFL, Robinson had more rushing yards than anyone not named Saquon Barkley or Derrick Henry. With 1,887 total scrimmage yards and 15 total TDs, he was the focal point of the Falcons offense and has arrived as one of the best RBs in the league. If new QB Michael Penix Jr. can help Atlanta take that next step, look for Bijan to be atop the fantasy scoring lists and OPOY voting.

  • Other good values: Ja’Marr Chase (+800) and CeeDee Lamb (+2000)

OROY

Cam Ward // NFL.com

Rookie of the Year has become a QB award in recent years, with signal-callers winning four of the last six. CBS Sports’ R.J. White expects much of the same in 2025, predicting Cam Ward (+350) as this year’s winner. It’s not a screaming value, but it’s a safe bet. Brian Callahan will be calling the shots on offense, and the Titans HC was integral to Joe Burrow getting off to a good start in his rookie campaign that was cut short due to injury. Burrow was on a 17-game pace similar to how C.J. Stroud finished in 2023 when he won the award.

As for Ward, he finished 2024 with the 2nd-most big-time throws in college football, per PFF. Plus, when given 3 or more seconds to throw, his passing grade ranked 7th overall, and his 95.1 passing grade on throws in between the NFL numbers was the highest in the entire FBS.

  • Other good values: Travis Hunter (+1000), TreVeyon Henderson (+1200), and Emeka Egbuka (+1500)
