Good morning.
Preseason Week 1 is in the books, and boy does the NFL sure know how to blue ball us.
We got some football foreplay with a couple beautiful minutes of Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase putting on a show—along with some flashes from rookies like TreVeyon Henderson and Tetairoa McMillan—only to be left unsatisfied and pretending we’re totally fine watching guys who’ll probably be on practice squads or in the UFL.
But hey, it’s still football. And after months without it, we’ll take whatever we can get…
