🏈 Michael Carter & Semifinal Waivers

Waiver wire targets ahead of your semifinal matchup, along with D/ST streamers and deeeeeep dives.

In partnership with

Good morning.

Patrick Mahomes and Micah Parsons tore their ACLs, Jayden Daniels is officially out for the year, Davante Adams and Devin Neal hurt their hammies, Rome Odunze re-aggravated his foot injury, Christian Watson is hurt (again)…

But other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Hopefully you were on the bright side of Week 15, benefiting from 40-burgers out of randoms like Trevor Lawrence and Kyle Pitts. It was definitely a wild start to the fantasy playoffs, and it continues this week with some intriguing waiver wire candidates to help you get to the finals.

WAIVER WIRE 🧐

Roster %’s courtesy of ESPN. Bid amounts are generalized suggestions—always take into account your budget total, roster makeup, and typical leaguemate behavior.

Note: With the fantasy postseason here, you may also notice bid amounts are higher. There’s no sense taking that FAAB with you to the grave…

Running Back

Michael Carter // Yahoo

Cardinals RB Michael Carter (9%) was the clear RB1 for the Cardinals after Bam Knight was carted off with an ankle injury, logging 18 touches for 94 yards. Knight’s status for the next two weeks is in serious jeopardy, so Carter could be a solid streamer against the Falcons (14th-most fantasy PPG allowed to RBs) this week and the Bengals (1st!!!) in the fantasy championship. Bid 75%.

Rams RB Blake Corum (30%) has now rushed for 70+ yards and at least one TD in three straight games (17.8 fantasy PPG), despite still being the backup to Kyren Williams. He would be #1 if it wasn’t for his tough matchup against the Seahawks, who have allowed the 3rd-fewest fantasy PPG to opposing RBs. Bid 75%.

Saints RB Audric Estime (0%) split time with Evan Hull after Devin Neal left with a hamstring injury. Estime was the more productive back on the day, though, turning six touches into 50 scrimmage yards. He’ll be the most likely FLEX play out of this backfield in Week 16 against a Jets defense that’s given up 13 TDs to RBs in their last five games, per Yahoo’s Justin Boone. Bid 40%.

Commanders RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt (48%) was given 18 carries with Chris Rodriguez out and was effective with them, finishing with 96 yards and a TD. Don’t go overboard here, though, as C-Rod was able to log a couple limited practices last week, so it’s possible he returns to the lineup. Bid 25%.

  • Other clear handcuffs that might still be available to stash (in order): Brian Robinson Jr. (25%), Tank Bigsby (18%), Tyler Allgeier (33%), Emanuel Wilson (37%), Keaton Mitchell (2%), Ray Davis (5%), and Tyjae Spears (32%). Bid 25+%.
