🏈 Elic Ayomanor & Week 3 Waivers

Players to add ahead of Week 3, along with D/ST streamers and deeeeeep dives.

Good morning.

Another week, another series of brutal injuries. The worst of all being Joe Burrow, who will require surgery for a Grade 3 turf toe injury, sidelining him for at least three months.

Injuries are the worst part of the game, but the show must go on. And for that, we have the waiver wire

Running Back

Bhayshul Tuten // Roto Baller

It’s pretty thin out on the streets at the RB position

It’s probably too late to add Jags RB Bhayshul Tuten (40%), but if you’re in a shallower league, scoop him up. He showed his potential on Sunday, earning 10 touches, 74 scrimmage yards and a TD in a loss to the Bengals.

Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell (10%) is the #2 RB behind Jaylen Warren, finishing with 5/20 rushing and 3/16 receiving on 5 targets (14%) and a 42% snap share in a loss to the Seahawks in Week 2, per Fantasy Points’ John Hansen.

Bears RB Kyle Monangai (2.2%) is an intriguing handcuff—he played just 11 fewer snaps than D’Andre Swift, who coughed up a fumble in Week 2 and is currently PFF’s lowest-graded RB with at least 15 carries.

Other top end handcuffs, like Falcons RB Tyler Allgeier (34%), Cardinals RB Trey Benson (56%), and Rams RB Blake Corum (5%), all looked good in limited action last week. They should all be on rosters.
