š Jauan Jennings & Week 4 Waivers
Players to add and drop this week, including deeeeeep dives.
Good morning.
What is going on?!
Watching football this past weekend felt like being in another dimension. The best offenses were led by Sam Darnold, Bo Nix, Malik Willis, Daniel Jones, and ANDY DALTON.
Meanwhile, those who were forced to start Jauan Jennings are feelinā themselves more than Arthur Blank inducting himself into the Falconsā Ring of Honor.
āCongratulations to Arthur Blank on this historic honorā

WAIVER WIRE š§
Running Back
Bucky Irving // Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Bucs RB Bucky Irving handled 56% of Tampaās rushing attempts on Sunday and HC Todd Bowles said the rookie has earned more snaps going forward. Heās currently 2nd in the NFL in yards per carry (25 carry minimum), while Rachaad White is 2nd-last (per Ian Hartitz). Weāve been on the Bucky train for a while now, and it looks like itās picking up steam.

Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard paced the backfield in snaps (46), carries (21), and rushing yards (114/5.4 per attempt) on Sunday. He also caught five passes for 55 yards on 12 routes, per RotoBallerās Phil Clark. Heās rostered in about half of standard leagues, but if heās on your waiver wire, scoop him up until Jonathon Brooks comes off the PUP list.
Cowboys RB Rico Dowdle is part of a committee in Dallas, but heās drawn the start in consecutive games. He also leads the team in carries (23) and rushing yards (88), plus heās caught eight passes for another 59 yards on 11 targets, per Yahooās Andy Behrens.
Even with Breece Hall ahead of him, Jets rookie RB Braelon Allen āstill saw 14 touches including one look in the red zone. Heās now more than just a handcuff for Hall, as Allen is getting enough work in the Jets offense to have standalone fantasy value as a flex starter in most leagues.ā ā SIās Michael Fabiano
ā Drop List:
Broncos RB Javonte Williams saw just 26% of Denverās RB rushes in Week 3, per J.J. Zachariason
Raiders RB Zamir White hasnāt scored more than 7 PPR points yet this season
Bears RB DāAndre Swift is dead last in rushing yards over expected, per Next Gen Stats
D'Andre Swift has 37 carries this season.
Yards gained on each from least to most:

Wide Receiver
49ers WR Jauan Jennings joined Jerry Rice as just the 2nd 49ers player ever to have 10+ receptions and three or more TD catches in a single game, per NFL.comās Dan Parr. With Deebo Samuel expected to miss multiple games, the opportunities should keep on coming for Jennings, even if George Kittle returns this week.

Jets WR Allen Lazard is who most thought Mike Williams would be this year, as he has three TDs on 16 targets and has shown a great rapport with long time teammate Aaron Rodgers. The ceiling is limited here, but if youāre desperate for a plug-and-play FLEX, heās a worthy option.
Falcons WR Darnell Mooney has averaged 7.5 targets and 77 receiving yards per game as an integral part of Atlantaās passing attack, per FantasyPros. He has operated as the No. 2 behind Drake London, essentially pushing Kyle Pitts into a tertiary role.
Cardinals WR Michael Wilson āoperated more as an underneath option for Kyler Murray and his aDOT dropped from 13.5 over the first two weeks to 7.8 on Sunday. He also ran a season-high 13 routes from the slot. With Trey McBride banged up, Wilson could continue to operate as an outlet for Murray, boosting his target floor going forward.ā ā NBCās Kyle Dvorchak
QB & TE
Justin Fields // SI
Steelers QB Justin Fields might still be available in shallower leagues. While he hasnāt run as much as usual, heās still among the top-4 QBs in rushing attempts, per PFFās Nathan Jahnke. If he combines his new passing efficiency with his rushing efficiency of past seasons, he could easily be a top-5 fantasy QB. Even if that doesnāt happen, he should remain a fantasy starter in the right matchups.
Vikings QB Sam Darnold has finished as a top-six fantasy QB in each of the past two weeks. He doesnāt offer a ton of rushing upside, but he looks legit in a Minnesota offense that should be getting Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson back at some point soon.
Panthers QB Andy Dalton may have just proved that Bryce Young was in fact the problem:

Heās bound to become the Andy Dalton we all know sooner than later, but with scoring being down across the board this year, you could do worse than the Red Rifle as your QB2.
Seahawks QB Geno Smith continues to produce solid numbers. Heās a top-12 fantasy QB so far this season and ranks 3rd in passing yards. Stream him against Detroit this week.
Broncos QB Bo Nix looked great on Sunday and has now scored 22.7 fantasy points via rushing this year. That's more than both Justin Fields and Anthony Richardson, per J.J. Zachariason.
Meanwhile at TE, the options are bleak across the boardā¦
But Bears TE Cole Kmet awoke to the tune of 10 catches for 97 yards and a TD on 11 targets against the Colts. The talentās there, so heās worth a dart throw if youāre desperate.
D/ST
Tennessee Titans // 247 Sports
The Tennessee Titans defense is a respectable unit that ranked 9th in DVOA before their Week 3 loss to the Packers, per FantasyPros. And this week they take on Miami, whoās the only team in the league to never have the lead in any game this season. Look for the Titans D to bounce back this week.
The New Orleans Saints have held all three of their opponents this season to fewer than 20 points while forcing seven turnovers and collecting 11 sacks. This week they take on Atlanta, which is a fairly neutral matchup, so they should continue being a strong start.
The Las Vegas Raiders are about to face a Cleveland offense that has scored 18, 17 and 15 points in its first three games. Browns QB Deshaun Watson has already taken 16 sacks and three of their starting offensive linemen have gone down with injuries.

DEEP DIVES š¤æ
Wilsonās got Wheels
Emanuel Wilson // Getty Images
Stash these players on your bench before they blow up. Last week, the perfect pickup was Jauan Jennings.
Packers RB Emanuel Wilson āfinished with a season-high 14 touches and 16.5 fantasy points in Green Bay's blowout win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Jacobs has seen 18+ touches in two of the team's three games this season. If he were to miss any time, Wilson would step in and take on that workload.ā ā ESPNās Eric Moody
Emanuel Wilson is second in touches (25) and third in total yards (142) for the Packers offense. 57.1% success rate as a runner. Had a 35-yard TD catch Sunday. Hugely improved as a pass protector. Legit RB2!
ā Zach Kruse (@zachkruse2)
7:33 PM ā¢ Sep 23, 2024
Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. had a season high in both snaps and touches on Sunday and is the clear handcuff to Devin Singletary. Singletary has been solid, but heās also lost fumbles in back-to-back games and has the 4th-most fumbles among RBs since he entered the league in 2019, per The Athleticās Dan Duggan. Tracyās role could continue to grow if Singletary keeps putting the ball on the turf.
Steelers WR Calvin Austin finished tied for 2nd on the team with a 15.6% target share (per Fantasy Pointsā Ryan Heath) and paced the Steelers with 95 receiving yards and a TD. Heās an explosive deep threat in a better than expected offense.
Patriots WR DeMario āPopā Douglas earned a 34.6% target share, a 45.9% air-yard share and a 47.4% first-read share with 2.46 yards per route run in Week 3 (per Fantasy Points Data).
