šŸˆ Rashee Rice & Week 7 Starts/Sits

Players to put in or out of your lineup in Week 7, along with sleepers and best bets.

Good morning.

Week 7 got off to a hot start with a fun TNF matchup. Joe Flacco came back from the dead, Aaron Rodgers almost fought his offensive lineman, and Ja’Marr Chase got peppered with 23 TARGETS!! That’s the 3rd-most by any player in any game since targets became a stat (1992), per Fantasy Points’ Scott Barrett.

Unfortunately, today’s matchups are looking a little rough. Especially the 1:00pm ET slate…

It’s an ideal pumpkin patch afternoon if you need to check that box still. But for you sickos out there who’ll be locked into every snap of a game like Panthers @ Jets, we salute you.🫔

STARTS & SITS 🧐

āœ… Start ā€˜Em

Jared Goff vs. TB: The Bucs have allowed 688 passing yards in the past two games against Sam Darnold and Mac Jones, and four QBs this season have scored at least 20.7 fantasy points against them. Meanwhile, Goff has scored at least 20.8 fantasy points in his past two games, and is averaging 30.3 fantasy PPG at home this season, per CBS Sports’ Jamey Eisenberg.

Justin Herbert vs. IND: ā€œHerbert will be plenty involved in a game projected to be among the week's highest-scoring (48.5 over/under), against a Colts defense that has struggled to contain upper-tier QBs. Bo Nix (20.24 fantasy points in Week 2), Matthew Stafford (27.40, Week 4) and Jacoby Brissett (20.70, Week 6) all scored in excess of 20 points against this defense.ā€ — ESPN’s Tristan H. Cockcroft

Bo Nix vs. NYG: New York’s defensive impact is predicated on converting blitzes into hits or sacks, then hoping the DBs can hang in man coverage with just a single safety protecting up top. With that, no one’s even come close to Denver’s sack avoidance metrics: their 27.4% pressure rate and 4 sacks allowed both lead the league, per Fantasy Life’s John Laghezza. With the solid protection of his o-line, Nix should be able to feast against the Giants’ secondary.
