Running Back

Bears RB Kyle Monangai (4.1%) stepped into a nice 55-45 split last week. DâAndre Swift still maintained the lead back role and was the more productive runner with 138 scrimmage yards and a score on 20 touches. But Monangai set season highs in yards (94) and touches (15), while scoring his first career TD, per Yahooâs Justin Boone. Bid 5-10% of your total budget.
Cardinals RB Bam Knight (24%) was the teamâs lead back, playing on 13 of 16 1st quarter snaps. In contrast, Michael Carter didnât see a touch until the 2nd quarter and only had 11 yards on seven rushing attempts, per FantasyProsâ Pat Fitzmaurice. Arizonaâs on a bye this week, but they return in Week 9 to face a weak Dallas defense, making Knight worth a stash ahead of time. Bid 5-10%.
Titans RB Tyjae Spears (30%) was out-touched by Tony Pollard 12-8. But he was the more efficient runner, averaging 4.4 YPC compared to just 3 YPC for Pollard, per USA Todayâs Jacob Camenker. Given Tennesseeâs terrible offensive ecosystem, Spears wonât have much standalone value, but if Pollard were to miss time, he could be a solid FLEX option. Bid 1-5%.
With trade rumors heating up around Breece Hall, continue to stash Jets RB Isaiah Davis (4%), who would be the de facto RB1 in such a scenario. Bid 1-3%.
Other clear handcuffs that might still be available to stash (in order): Tyler Allgeier (36%), Bhayshul Tuten (27%), Brian Robinson (28%), Blake Corum (10%), Emanuel Wilson (10%), and Devin Neal (0%). Bid 1-5%.
