🏈 Tyrone Tracy Jr. & Week 9 Waivers
Players to add ahead of Week 9, along with D/ST streamers and deeeeeep dives.
Good morning.
Another brutal week out there in the streets. We had only one game decided by one score (hasn't happened since Week 14 of 1970), plus there was an 18.25 average margin of victory (8th-most all time) and eight games featured QBs that weren't their team’s Week 1 starter, per CBS Sports’ Mike Renner. And not to mention some brutal injuries…

Running Back

Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. (42%) handled seven of the team’s nine RB carries after Cam Skattebo’s injury, while also leading New York’s RBs with three targets, per NFL.com’s Dan Parr. He’s faded into the background this season, but let's not forget Tracy posted 14+ fantasy points seven times last season. With Skattebo out for the year, the 2nd-year back could offer solid RB2 value. Bid 20+%.
Cardinals RB Bam Knight (19%) looks to be the main dude for the immediate future after the team released Michael Carter. Trey Benson could be back soon, but Knight’s expected to start this week against a Cowboys D that are allowing the 7th-most fantasy points to the RB position, per FantasyPros’ Ellis Bryn Johnson. Bid 5-10%.
Jets RB Isaiah Davis (8%) blew up last week with 17.9 PPR points. He offers some standalone value as a change-of-pace back and receiving threat, but his value could really skyrocket if the team trades Breece Hall at the upcoming deadline. Bid 5%.
Titans RB Tyjae Spears (36%) has looked like the more explosive back in Tennessee:
#Titans Week 8 RB Usage
- Tyjae Spears: 51% snaps, 9 carries, 18 routes, 3 targets (82 yds, TD)
- Tony Pollard: 48% snaps, 11 carries, 13 routes, 2 targets (53 yds)— Michael F. Florio (@MichaelFFlorio)

At 1-7, the Titans might as well see what they have in Spears down the stretch. Although this is still likely to be an annoying committee on a terrible offense, the pickins are slim at RB. Bid 1-5%.
Eagles RB Tank Bigsby (19%) racked up 104 yards on nine carries after Saquon Barkley left Sunday’s game with a groin injury. Although Barkley’s injury isn’t thought to be serious, Bigsby showed what kind of upside he has as the clear backup in Philly. Bid 1-5%
Browns RB Dylan Sampson (10%) is in a similar boat as Bigsby… just his boat is more like the Titanic. Starter Quinshon Judkins hurt his shoulder on Sunday, and the Browns are on a bye this week. But in Judkins’ absence, Sampson had five catches for 26 as a checkdown option. His ceiling is limited in this offense, but he’ll have PPR appeal if Judkins has to miss time. Bid 1%.
Other clear handcuffs that might still be available to stash (in order): Tyler Allgeier (36%), Bhayshul Tuten (22%), Brian Robinson (24%), Blake Corum (8%), Jaydon Blue (14%), Kyle Monangai (39%), Devin Singletary (1%), Emanuel Wilson (4%), Ollie Gordon II (11%), and Devin Neal (3%). Bid 1-5%.
